Diet Patch Weight Loss


There are many different diet patch weight loss  brands on the market for losing weight the easy way.

Most contain a blend of four important ingredients. These are Guarana, Chromium, Garcinia cambogia and Fucus vesiculosus.

Guarana is an antioxidant and diuretic. It is a stimulant which has fat burning/thermogenic properties, although only mild.

Chromium is used to aid treatment for many effects of 'metabolic syndrome', a combination of diseases which are believed to be the results of an unhealthy diet. Among others, these diseases are obesity, diabetes, cholesterol and heart disease. Chromium helps regulate the balance of blood sugar levels, so its use can lead to stablized blood sugar, and so might reduce the need for sweet snacks. However, chromium does not seem to aid weight loss as its has questionable fat burning qualities.

Garcinia cambogia (hydroxycitric acid) is said to prevent carbohydrates being turned into fats, although no study has found it helps much with weight loss.

Fucus vesiculosus  is a brown seaweed which contains a high amount of iodine.

 

Iodine is used by the thyroid (gland) for optimal performance of the body. When your thyroid is sluggish, you feel low in energy, and thus can become overweight if you eat the normal amounts of food. Iodine corrects this. If you do not have a thyroid deficiency, iodine in a diet patch is not going to help you lose weight. more iodine than you need in your diet is not healthy.

However, Fucus vesiculosus does seem to help reduce blood sugar levels. This in turn reduces cravings for sugar.

Overall, the average diet patch does not seem to be effective for weight loss, although guarana and chromium are moderately helpful. If you change your diet and exercise more, you will lose weight despite the easy diet patch weight loss claims.

 

Lastly, the Hoodia Diet Patch. This has been touted to be the best diet patch weight loss method.

Hoodia gordonii is a succulent plant found in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. It is/was used by the Bushman for thousands of years to suppress appetite. This is achieved by eating the whole plant.

Hoodia diet patches, just like the others, is supposed to work by directly passing through your skin and into your bloodstream. This does not have anywhere near the effect of eating the whole plant.

 

 

Thus, patches alone do not have the effect of weight loss. Using the diet patch, eating healthily and exercising more will help you lose weight. Is the diet patch weight loss promise anything other than making you believe it is easy to lose weight?
