 Low Carb dieting is short on carbohydtrates. It reduces or replaces most carbohydrates, such as breads, pasta and rice, with proteins, fats, (meats, soy products etc.) and green vegetables.


Calorie :You count the calories you eat. Use foods from the seven food groups, keeping to a certain number of calories. It says around half of your daily calories should be carbohydrate.


Protein : Eat lots of meats and eggs, cheeses and salads. Eliminate foods with sugars/carbohydrates - rice, pasta, bread, potatoes, fruit and fruit juices. The extra protein you eat compensates for the carbohydrate. Drink plenty of water.
